It has been a mixed bag of updates in the world of Tolkien spinoffs this week, with The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power confirmed to have wrapped up filming season 3 and the sad news that a new Aragorn is going to be sought out for the projected 2027 release, The Hunt for Gollum.
While all of the LOTR-related shows and movies that come out in the present day can sometimes prompt disappointed reactions from the dedicated Middle-earth fandom, it is nice to know that there is always new content on the horizon to look forward to.
