Divvying up your assets before you depart from the earth is crucial if you have a lot to share and many people to share it with. At the end of the day, you can leave all of your belongings to one person, everyone, or a charity of your choosing. Nobody has a say in what you decide to do with it once you're gone if you're of sound mind and body while making the decision.
Some people aren't fortunate enough to make it to the day when they can fairly split their assets, and that inability to do so causes family members and other loved ones to act out.
Money makes people do interesting things, and usually, these behaviors reflect their true character. It's not every day that a large home or hundreds of thousands of dollars are within someone's grasp, so they turn to the deepest parts of their minds to get the job done. The uncles in this next story do exactly that, and force their niece to pay, out of pocket, the market value of her grandparents' home. The grandparents had said they wanted the niece to get the house, but they were never able to finalize it. What would you do if you were in this family?
