Do you prefer drinking something hot or cold first thing in the morning?
As we welcome December and are inching towards Christmas, the days are also getting colder and colder. And as it gets more difficult to get out of bed in the morning, we find ourselves in need of a hot and cozy beverage in our hands as soon as we wake up. It can be a steamy cup of coffee or a comforting cup of tea, but it must be hot, and it must warm our chilly bodies as we are forced to leave the warmth of our comforter behind.
If you were to ask us in summer, we might admit to enjoying an iced coffee on our way to work. But now? Nothing with ice is allowed anywhere near our mouths. We need as much warmth as we can get.
