Every class in school has at least one kid with incredibly strict parents who don't let them do anything and never let them out of their sight. As kids, it always confused us why Henry's mom came to all of the birthday parties and never let him leave her sight. We also felt kind of sorry for Henry, because having his mom with him anywhere he goes meant he couldn't really have fun with his friends.
She was always there, always watching.
The mom in the story below not only insisted on coming to her son's friend's birthday party, but she also demanded that the entire family be invited as well. They either come as a family or they don't come at all. However, since the birthday party was a closed event, the hosting family couldn't afford to invite the entire family and told the mom that her son could only come with one parent.
This did not sit well with this overbearing mom, so she refused to let her poor son go. What will happen the next time her son is invited to a social event remains to be seen…
