    ‘’Her muzzle was greying and her eyes milky so she must have been blind poor thing: Kind commuter risks their life saving a blind senile dog who mistakenly escaped his home, ending in a heartwarming reunion with dog’s senior pawrent

    Often when we come across stories of doggos running wild in the middle of a busy road, it is a case of cruel neglect and abandonment that brings a tear or two to the eye. However, today's tale of roadside rescue is actually born of the complications that can come with a senior and slightly senile pair of pupper and pawrent. For you see, even with the best of intentions things can go awry and especially if you happen to struggle to see very well and your pawrent mistakenly leaves the garden gate unlatched. Which is what happened to the sweet senior Jack Russell, who ended up being found by our selfless hero.

    And it was indeed very lucky that this hero arrived, for the road is no place for compassion, least of all from speeding cars on their morning commutes. So the next time you see a poor pupper running by the roadside, spare a thought for stopping because that darling doggo might just be looking for their way home.
