'I decided to have a little fun': Tenant gets even with difficult, noisy neighbor by playing random "alien" sounds in the middle of the night

Every difficult neighbor has an Achilles' heel. 

This tenant had to deal with the lady next door in their apartment complex. She was incessantly causing drama with other tenants in the building, when in reality, she was the person who was making all kinds of noise at night. She was the person who was leaving trash in the hallway, as if there weren't other tenants sharing the floor. She was even the one constantly complaining to building management over minor issues. 

It was only a matter of time before this neighbor was going to get a taste of her own medicine, and well, that time had finally arrived.

This author had had enough of her constant knocking on his door, claiming he was the one being loud, so instead, he decided to disrupt her in a sneakier way. He planted tiny wireless speakers near their shared wall and would suddenly, without warning, play random noises in the middle of the night, but only just for a second. 

It was happening enough to keep this lady awake and drive her insane, but it never happened for long enough that she could source where it was coming from or record the noise for a future complaint. Sometimes, the noises would be alien sounds. Other times, they would be duck quacks. Regardless, she was driven just as crazy as everyone else in the building was from her own hijinks.
