Well, dog people, it's coming. The weekend is almost here, and it's like we can smell it, sniff it like your dog insists on sniffing every fallen crunchy leaf on the sidewalks during your morning walkies. And, fellow dog people, we're excited for the weekend. Excited like a doggo who sees his hooman coming home from a long day of work, wagging his tail so hard half his body is wagging along. The weekend is the best time for dog people. Why? Because they get to spend a lot of free time with their doggos - and if that's not a good reason to get excited, we don't know what is.
But we're not quite at the weekend yet. We smell it, we feel it, we can practically taste it - but a doggo-filled weekend isn't here yet for at least another day. We can't chase it closer, like a dog chasing a squirrel in the dog park. We can't tug a weekend closer, like a dog playing tug with their favorite rope toy. We can't walk the weekend on a leash to make it come sooner. But what we can do, as dog people, is fill our remaining non-weekend time with lots of wholesome doggo memes. Surrounding ourselves with some precious puppers is a great way to make a pre-weekend time feel more like the weekend.
