Computers are what keep the modern world running, something that everyone is reminded of every time one breaks and sends everything spiraling into chaos. Setting those accidental catastrophes aside, though, it's easy to see why so many people are drawn to the lucrative world of programming. Whatever languages you use or whichever niche you find yourself specializing in, coding grants a certain sense of superiority over the many self-proclaimed luddites out there who barely even know what Task Manager is.
Still, these backwards individuals enjoy one major advantage over any programmer: they remain blissfully unaware of the frustrations involved in wrangling a piece of code into functioning correctly. You lose that happy ignorance forever once you learn to code, but you do gain the ultimate coping mechanism of laughing about it with memes. When everything else is going wrong, at least you can still turn to internet humor for a little stress relief.
