"The customer is always right in matters of taste," they say. And technically… sure. If someone hires you to make a dress entirely out of "No Smoking" signs, you smile and say, "Absolutely, ma'am." If they want a coffee table made out of an old wheelbarrow with three legs and a family of spiders still living in it? Go right ahead. It's their table. Their problem. Their extremely confusing aesthetic.
Because here's the thing: we're not here to judge. (Okay, we are absolutely here to judge, but only silently. And by silently I mean loudly, via internet listicles.)
Sometimes a design choice is so bewildering it crosses the line from bad to brilliant and then loops back around to "please never show me this again."
