Everyone likes to sleep in, but not everyone is afforded that kind of luxury. And okay, we admit, it's not nearly as bad as the life of a dog mom or dad, facing the bitter and brisk cold of the outside morning air as you trek downstairs so your dog can go to the bathroom. But still! Cat parents have their complaints too! The heavy onus of pet parenting is simply...heavy, no matter what the pet. You're in a deep sleep, off floating in dreamland to visions of soft serve ice cream and a jobless existence, when BAM! Consciousness hits you like a bus, but it's actually just your cat skidding across the floor and hitting the bed you're sleeping on.
