24 Lofty, Lanky, and Lovably Long Cats to Stretch Your Smile Wide

There is nothing that our cats do that we don't love. And we mean nothing. The smallest things that they do make us smile. Seeing them nap, clean themselves, eat, drink… it's like having a little ray of sunshine in our homes that sometimes bites our ankles in the middle of the night. It's ameowzing. And the beautiful thing is that no matter how much we watch them and how much time we spend with them, they still manage to surprise us sometimes.

Like when cats sit on their booties, and suddenly, they look a little more… human than they did a moment ago. Or when our cats tuck their ears back into the airplane ears position, and suddenly, they look a little more like aliens than they did a moment beforehand. But one of the best things, of course, one thing that always manages to surprise us is when our cats stretch. But we don't mean their regular stretches. We mean those stretches when we suddenly see their full length, and all of a sudden, we understand how they manage to take up half the bed at night when we sleep.

We love it when they do things like this. It spooks us! But we love it. Truly. There is something so uncanny about cats standing up in ways that are so human, but there is also something so fascinating and adorable about it.
