There is something very personal about knowing somebody's kitchen habits. It gives you a detailed window into many things, like their preferred tastes, the kind of nutrition they get, and how much time they spend cooking for themselves and others. Diet signifies a lot about a person, and how they choose to prepare and consume it, even more so.

It is also something that is a big deal when it comes to family members. As any parent who has tried in vain to get their kids to eat something that they hate will know, it can prove to be a point of tension that doesn't ease up. It doesn't just stop with children, though, and sometimes the problem is worse with adults. After all, they have the agency to choose what food they are going to have in their house, and what exactly they are going to do with it.

One woman revealed the eccentricity of her aunt's eating habits when she plundered her freezer in search of something for dinner while staying with her. Revealing everything from a number of different frozen soups in bowls and pans to crabs with the barnacles still on them, it looked like she would be hard-pressed to find something that tasted good.
When viewers saw the array of things that could be found here, many were baffled as to why somebody would store food in that way, and others wondered if there was a deeper issue at hand. There are some relatives who make the backup option of getting takeout a necessity.
