    28-year-old stops paying Dad's electric bill after he keeps hanging up the phone on her mid-sentence: 'He's going to have to figure it out himself'

    There comes a point in one's adult life when the roles between parent and child begin to change. Sure, your parents will always be the folks who raised you, but it's a curious phenomenon when they start to depend on you for things. No, we're not just talking about physical health as they get older. We're talking about something much more innocuous, yet it's still occasionally frustrating.     This 28-year-old daughter paid her dad's monthly electronic bill for him because, well, he wasn't exactly skilled when it came to making online payments. Despite numerous attempts to show her father how it's done, he became so reliant on her for help that it was just easier for the author to take on that responsibility.
