'Her new life story started 3 weeks ago': Rescued bird Margalo finds a loving home, new siblings, and the confidence to spread her wings again

Margalo's story is one for the bird books. Just three weeks ago, she was found on the street with damaged wings, dirty feathers, and a heart full of uncertainty. Her rescuer swooped in to give her a second chance, and though Margalo was wary at first, this little feathered fighter slowly began to trust again.

At the start, she perched quietly, unsure how to move or explore her new space. Her appetite was limited to simple seeds, but her hoomans patiently encouraged her to try new, nutrient-rich foods to help her feathers regrow. It took time, love, and a lot of gentle chirps of reassurance, but now she's finally spreading her wings and embracing her new life.

Margalo has learned to play with her toys, eat her "super premium" meals, and even gained two feathered siblings who adore her. This little bird may have fallen from the nest once, but she's soared straight into a life full of care, comfort, and chirpy companionship
