Well, that sure is a heartbreaking yet simultaneously heartwarming encounter to have while at work. For it is terribly sad that the unhoused gentleman could no longer properly care for his doggo, yet it is also rather wonderful that he can appreciate that fact and put the doggo’s wellbeing above all else. There are so many housed people who would not be even as attentive to their doggo’s needs.

Wow, what a heartwarming response from this rescuer’s boss. We cannot imagine all too many bosses being this sympathetic to the need to save an animal, and no less during a shift. It is safe to say that pretty much everyone involved in this story thus far is a freaking hero!
