Daughter begs parents to visit, but when they extend the invitation to their friends, offering up her apartment for them to stay in, she plans trip out of town to escape overcrowding and family tension: '5 grown adults can't cohabitate in a 1-bedroom'

Being an independent adult means that things finally become yours. Your job, your apartment, your savings…It doesn't necessarily mean that you will have everything in surplus, but no matter the quantity, it is still yours. Every young adult looks forward to making their parents proud, and even more so, the day when their parents can get a glimpse into their lives, and for a moment be the one relying on their kids. So this daughter is very excited when her parents agree to come visit her in her city, and even plans to stay with her in her apartment.

Until she learns that her parents have relied on her a little too much, inviting their friends to come stay with them in her apartment! Did we mention this was a one-bedroom apartment? One that could be tweaked and adjusted when it was just the three of them, but now that they have invited another couple without consulting her, she is left feeling more claustrophobic than she's ever felt in her own home. Her alternative suggestions are met with rejection, so she eventually decided to remove herself from the situation…informing her parents that they are all free to stand there, but she'll be sending her warm regards… from another city!

As you can imagine, this cannot go down well, as the whole point of the trip was for these parents to visit their daughter. Not throw a fiesta with their friend group, who felt like a little vacation. Family tension is sparked as this daughter feels like her parents have taken advantage of her personal space, putting it on offer for anyone else. Will these parents uninvite their friends (and potential business partners) to make their daughter happy? Or will they treat her as they've treated her little one-bedroom…with little to no regard?
