How do we define introvert? Cambridge dictionary defines an introvert as, "someone who is shy, quiet, and prefers to spend time alone rather than often being with other people," which is only half true in my opinion. Introverts aren't necessarily shy or quiet. So how does one define someone who's maybe outgoing and loud, but also prefers alone time instead of hanging out with other people? We're not in the business of philosophy, linguistics, or etymology, so I'm not sure! All I can say is that I feel introverted, and nothing feels better than having a night to myself.
Take last night, for example. I came home from work, kicked my shoes off by the door, fed my cat, and just got to sink into the world that is my small, but beautifully mine, apartment. I got to light my candles and pink Himalayan salt lamp. I made some dinner alone of dumplings with soy sauce to dip in, and I just listened to music and felt myself. For me, there's no better feeling than being alone, enjoy!
