Obedience trainer spends class harshly criticizing dogs and their owners, gets schooled by a puppy with zero respect for authority: 'She was shocked speechless'

My own puppy was a total A+ student in obedience school. She could sit, stay, and shake like a little genius. But the moment she got home, she would act like she had total amnesia. She'd look at me like, "Sit? Never heard of it." So when I came across this story, I felt deeply seen.

One dog owner shared their hilarious experience taking their puppy to an obedience class run by a woman with the personality of a Marine drill sergeant. During the first session, she berated every owner like they should have never even gotten a dog in the first place.

By the next class, she ordered everyone to bring high-value treats. The teacher mocked the owner for bringing the wrong treats and smugly pulled out her own stash. Luckily, this pup wasn't going to let its owner be treated like that, so its next move left the entire class erupting in laughter while the teacher stood there, fish-mouthed and furious.

That was the day the puppy flunked obedience school but earned straight A’s in comedic timing. Turns out, not even the strictest trainer can boss around a determined dog with good taste.
