Customer pays $115 for special Halloween charcuterie board, gets "lazily put together" snack tray: 'You deserve to be refunded for this'

This Halloween-themed charcuterie board is scarily underwhelming, and people are urging this customer to request a refund. 

Creating a beautiful charcuterie board is one of those things that people tend to undervalue. They see a nice tray of meats, cheeses, fruits, and sweets beautifully arranged, and think to themselves, "I could do that for $20!" Not so fast there, pal! These boards tend to be quite pricey, depending on the size and event, and you could easily expect to pay $100+ for it. People really underestimate how much meats and cheeses cost, let alone the variety these creators provide — they may add in olives, chocolates, fancy fruits, and more. And no matter how many inspirational Instagram reels you watch, a professional is going to make a way more aesthetically pleasing spread than a regular untrained person could. You're paying for ingredients, expertise, and delivery, and in return, your guests have an incredible banquet of foods to munch on. 

This person, though, was totally taken aback by a charcuterie order gone wrong. They wanted a Halloween-themed board complete with a plastic skeleton decoration in the middle. I love that! There are so many things you could do to make that cute, and this person was even kind enough to send the creator 3 inspiration images. The inspo pics include things like skeleton hands reaching out for the treats, a cheese with a jelly-filled bat center, and a grinning plastic skeleton with a meat-filled middle. Very cute, very chic, but not something just an average person could probably pull off. 

Just wait until you see what this person got — it is laugh-out-loud funny, and I truly do hope they get their well-deserved refund. The end result looks really cheap — I think you literally could make this yourself for like $30, with the cost of that cheap plastic decoration included!
