It is the last thing that anybody wants to hear when they're down in the dumps, but it's true: everybody feels bad now and then. Life is filled with ups and downs, which sometimes feel like speed bumps and sometimes feel like a roller coaster that would never pass a safety inspection. It isn't pleasant, but it is something that we have to deal with nonetheless.
Seeing as all of these bad feelings exist, it is only right that we try to find some appropriate ways of dealing with them. There is the whole therapy, treatment, meditation and gentle exercise route, but if we want a hit of dopamine right here and now, we can always turn to memes. Seeing as there are so many sad people out there and a lot of them love using the internet, we have no shortage of (sorta) entertaining thoughts about what it means to be in a bad place.
