Any other members of the workforce feeling sleepy this afternoon? Some laughs might be just what you need to give you that burst of energy we're all searching for when the clock strikes 3 PM.
All employees, even those with more stationary, docile work environments, get that feeling come the mid-afternoon. You know the one. Your back hurts (but a massage won't fix it), your eyes feel strained, and your typing fingers are starting to spasm. A cup of coffee can only do so much, and two cups will put you on edge for the rest of the evening. What do you do? Accept tired defeat? Become a zombie for the rest of the day?
It doesn't have to be this way, white collar and blue-collar friends. We are already forced to work nearly every day of our lives, so the least we can do to supplement our serotonin is allow ourselves some laughs along the way. A little party never hurt anybody, and this afternoon, it's looking like we need some extra love in the energy department.
