These leaves already cover a large portion of the ground we walk on and are tricky to maneuver as is, but in the dark, you never know what may lie beneath the leaves' surface. The human who found the cute calico kitten featured in the next story nearly stepped on her until she realized that her eyes deceived her: A furry feline was cozied up in a pile of leaves! Like clockwork, the human brings this kitty home and introduces her to the other human in the house, her father. Now, the rescued calico, who is now named "Tori", has three new feline friends and two humans to call her family.
