    'My grandpa finds it hilarious': Granddaughter asks all nine cousins for photos to make custom phone case for their Grandpa’s birthday gift, but after no response from three cousins, she replaces their spots with images of her dog, sparking family tension

    This granddaughter sought revenge in the form of 'cuteness overload' and her grandfather wasn't mad about it! We cannot say the same for her cousins, however! After this granddaughter decides she wants to buy her amazing grandfather a cute, personalized gift from all nine of the cousins, she asks all of them to send pictures of themselves to get printed onto a phone case for him. Simple and sweet, just like grandpa! 

    However, after three attempts at reminding her cousins, three of them never got around to sending the images. So instead of begging them, she knew exactly how to fill their spots on the phone case! What's one this just ask lovable as a grandchild? Yep, a dog! She took the funniest and most irresistible pictures of her doggo and pasted them on top of where their three faces were meant to go! You snooze, you lose, and their grandpa deserves a phone case full of love and gleaming puppy-dog eyes! Grandpa found it hilarious, but those three cousins…not as amused.

    • Now the tension has spread throughout the family as her aunts and uncles are telling her parents that their kids deserve an apology for being ‘left off’ the gift! Why should she have to chase down people to do something that would take 0.1 seconds to send through? If they couldn’t be bothered to do so, that shouldn’t be a reflection of her, now, should it? At least the upside is her grandfather has hilarious pup-pics to look at whenever he picks up his phone, that sounds pretty perfect to me!

      AITA for replacing pictures of my cousins with pictures of my dog

      My grandpas birthday was a couple weeks ago. 6 weeks before his birthday, I texted all of my siblings and cousins (there's 9 of us) and told them to send me a picture of themselves within the next 4 weeks so I could put it on a phone case for our grandpa's birthday.

      2 weeks later I sent the text again, saying I needed a picture of them and anybody that chooses not to send a picture will be replaced by a picture of my dog.

      I had 3 cousins tell me to screenshot something from their instagrams. I didn't respond. I sent a text out the day before I put in the order saying anybody that did not send a picture of themselves in the next 24 hours would be replaced by pictures of my dog.

      The same 3 cousins never sent pictures. Their spots have my dog in a sombrero, my dog at the pumpkin patch, and my dog in a chicken costume.

      Communication Mean158 Context: was this a group gift or just from you with having all of them on it in mind? It really wont change my mind but some people may need that context. NTA. Dont be a lazy team project person and get angry when youre not on the final product.

      elevenohnoes NTA they have no right to complain, they knew exactly what would happen if they didn't make a small amount of effort because you told them exactly what you'd do if they didn't. Show their parents your messages, this is entirely on your cousins. Your ahole status may change if don't show us the dog photos though!
