29-year-old stunned by "bold" entitled customer who demands cashier help her before 6 other customers: 'My mouth literally fell open, y'all'

Main character syndrome is a real problem, as this customer proudly displayed when she snuck through a line of other shoppers to demand that she be helped first.

Politeness, or the lack thereof, is evident while shopping at stores these days. People tend to be on their phones, staring straight down, meaning that you can easily bump into them. They're blocking the middle of the aisle as they look something up, completely oblivious to the people trying to get around them. Some of them will stand there with a freezer door open in the grocery store trying to decide which item to pick… unaware that the 3 people beside them already know which frozen good they're going to pick, and are now stuck waiting and rolling their eyes.

This lack of social awareness is often on display at small craft stores, too. It's a popular hangout for older folks who have nothing better to do with their time than inspect swaths of cloth or bundles of yarn (and of course, they're going to park their cart in the pathway while they do so). But this woman really took it to the next level with her "bold" move, as a customer witnessing this described it.

This woman detailed how this entitled customer marched to the front of the line, cutting off her and 5 other customers, to insist that she be helped first. She truly expected the cashier to leave the counter, with all those people waiting to be rung up, in order to help her find something. The entitlement is stunning! In her mind, she was the main character in this situation, and everyone else's needs would just have to wait.
