    'My cat is a menace to this neighbourhood': Small cat gets jailed for being mean to the neighbors' cats in their own homes, is finally released only to show exactly why she was impurrisoned the first time

    It's always an argument in the cat community - whether indoor cats should be let outside or not. But wherever you may stand on the issue, the fact remains that some people will indeed keep letting their fluffy felines out into the big wide world. And they will have to face the consequences. Consequences such as their cats visiting neighbors and possibly choosing a summer house to spend half their time in. Consequences such as their cats becoming famous in their neighborhood, whether for good reasons or not. 

    And let's be honest - it's never a good thing that makes a cat become famous in a neighborhood. It's always something like cats stealing food or clothes or getting double-fed or something. It's not usually quite as bad as this story though. This cat became famous in its neighborhood for being an absolute menace, for walking into people's homes and smacking other cats around - in their own homes. It has, in fact, gotten so bad that the cat in question had to be jailed - not so much for its own good but for the good of all the other cats in the community.

      naledi @naledimashishi For those wondering what the other cat did: my cat had a habit of "adopting" other families that she liked that she would visit during the day. She found a very sweet couple and decided to hang out with them. Problem was they already had two cats 3 17485 9.3K 19

    • It's the WhatsApp pictures for us. It's the fact that people in the neighborhood were talking about this little feline as if a tiny criminal was running around their neighborhood. Which we suppose was exactly what happened.  Still, it is one of the funniest things that we have ever heard of.

    • No, she is not sorry whatsoever, and we can just see in those little hooligan eyes that she will do it again and again if given the chance. And even if not given the chance, she will try to escape as you walk in and out of the house to do it anyway.

      naledi @naledimashishi Okay so since this thread has gotten MASSIVE I need to clear some things up: 1) my cat is spayed and lived in a shelter with other cats so not sure where the cat aggression came from

      naledi @naledimashishi 2) I intervened when I heard her fighting outside and chased the other cats away. Eventually I stopped hearing fighting so thought things had calmed down outside. I didn't realise realise my cat was still walking outside with this attitude

      naledi @naledimashishi 3) the neighbours cat is now fine and made a complete recovery. I've spoken to the neighbour and made some agreements about what will happen going forward (including keeping my cat indoors)

      @pricelessnetta Your cat reminds me so much of mine, although he was a Tomcat. Lady (named him lady because I couldn't identify his gender as a kitten) became the king of the area, impregnated every cat until one of them came and dumped her kittens behind my window for child support. I miss Lady

      @CMargaronis I love this thread! This menace was brought inside from being a feral kitten at six weeks old, and she remains inside after being shown she couldn't be trusted outdoors. Don't let the sweet looks fool you.
