‘[She’s] behaving like the parent of adult employees': Dieting coworker drivers entire staff to the brink, gets forced into earlier retirement with no party

Dieting is not easy. We all know that. Hanger is a real thing and can ruin relationships. I know tons of people who I cannot have a conversation with if they are hunger. Like, they will start to yell at you for scratching your head while they were talking, but then apologize to you after they've had lunch. Your stomach hold a lot more power over you than you think. 

So when this co-worker decided to diet, she made it the entire office's problem. She treated everyone like they were a toddler and she were their parent. She would roll her eyes disrespectfully at anyone who didn't eat healthily and wouldn't allow anyone to have their sweet treat near her. The annoyance got so great in the office, that she made one co-worker change departments so they wouldn't have to deal with her. Eventually, she was forced into early retirement. And to add salt to the wound (or should I say sugar?), this office was very big on retirement parties, but this employee got nothing, not even a company wide email.
