  • We crossed over. This was on my street, a block away (about ten doors down) and on the opposite side from mine.
  • The moment we stepped onto the sidewalk, without introducing himself, and without so much as a "Hello" he said the following, word for word:

  • Me: Ummm, wha-- Huh? Jabba: I seen you clearing snow with a snowblower. [It was almost an accusation]

  • Jabba: You have a snowblower. This is easy. You spend all that time on your corner. You clear the

  • Jabba: Liar. I seen you. You clean off the walk next to you. That's longer than mine.
  • Me: There're a dis ed couple in their 80s. Thru can't move heavy snow. They live next door. It's twenty feet. I do it to be nice.
  • Jabba: Then be nice to me. I can't lift heavy snow. But you don't care about me.

  • If I want to go out I have to wait until my sons get here to shovel me out and clean off my car.
  • Me: Your sons . . . Sorry sir. I'm not going to clear your snow. Have a good day. ?
  • As we start walking away he plays what he thinks is his last resort. And this is EXACTLY what he said.

  • Satsuki7104 Exactly, he cursed him out while walking his preschool aged child home. Maybe if he had been nicer and asked politely, I would've considered it but the moment you curse in front of a child I personally lose all respect for that person and I ignore them.
  • CyberRedhead27 "Exactly, I don't care about you, and this interaction has made me care even less. Goodbye"

  • Funny-fake-name Beats me. It's clear he got the notion the previous winter and was stewing over it for months. When he recognized me and saw me within talking distance it all came out. Writing this I just realized how creepy it is that he recognized me. He lived a block away. Whenever I used the snowblower I was bundled up. We were on our way home. Had he been watching me come and go from my home? I've always imagined he was just a harmless weirdly self-absorbed guy. He might have been dangerous
