Being married to an actual gamer means that my husband constantly tries to convince me to play all kinds of video games with him. Every few days, he comes up with a new game he is absolutely certain that I would love, but he very rarely succeeds in actually making me fall in love with any game.
The only game I truly love is Stardew Valley.
I can't explain it. The combination of cozy farming, the daily struggle, and the undertones of town drama and fighting monsters is the perfect combination for someone like me. The actual gameplay is not too hard for someone with no gaming experience, and it is just the right amount of everything to keep me playing day after day.
And don't get me started on the journey to perfection, because I cannot shut up about it.
All in all, Stardew Valley is the best game out there, and I couldn't recommend it enough. If you feel the same, you are definitely going to love the hilarious collection of memes that every Pelican Town villager would absolutely love to get as a gift!
