'I've made significant progress on my reading lol': Employee ends up getting hours of leisure time after entitled supervisor forces her to change her work schedule

Everyone is trying their best, right? That includes people at their jobs. You work your hardest and hope that earns you a bigger income and respect. However, there are tons of people in the workforce that get lost in a power trip and lose sight of the company's purpose. Just like this supervisor who was a nepo hire. She just turned out to be besties with the one doing the hiring, so she got the job. She doesn't actually knew the inner-workings of the company. So, when she decided to shake things up to make it appear like she's doing something for the company, she actually made things worse. One employee tried to explain it to her. She was originally scheduled to work 7 to 4pm, but unofficially ended up working 8 to 6pm because that's when it was actually busy. 

But nope, it didn't matter. She had to be there at 7 or else she would be fired. Okay, fine. So she did just that. And guess what? She had absolutely nothing to do until a little after 8pm. So she would just sit there and read her book. And then when she left at 4pm, that's when everything got insanely busy. But, oh well, boss' order!
