Entitled rich man spends over $350k on hotel stay, only to show up 4 days late with unfair demands for front desk agent: 'It appears that the guest is staying on his megayacht'

Working for the ultra-wealthy can take a toll on a person.

Imagine getting paid minimum wage to prepare an elaborate villa for a wealthy guest at a luxury resort, only to discover that they are barely spending any time there. This isn't just any hotel room. This is the kind of place that requires round-the-clock care and costs approximately $15,000 a night.

Not only did this front desk agent and his team have a more limited window than usual to prepare the space, but after all that work, these folks didn't even show up on the day of their estimated arrival time. Don't worry, it gets worse.

After checking with the booking staff and other employees at the hotel, the front desk agent then learned that they wouldn't be arriving for another two days. By day four of their six-night reservation, the billionaire finally arrived along with his staff.

These folks ended up demanding even more special treatment. Unfortunately, despite the fact that all the front desk agent wanted to do was to confront this guy and tell him that what he was asking went against hotel policy, instead, all he was instructed to do by management was follow his orders.

The funny aspect of this whole “rich people problems” debacle is that the front desk agent never even saw the billionaire in the flesh. Instead, he only communicated with the guy's staff. Of course, this kind of untouchable quality only makes you want to break all the rules and tell this guy he can make his own bed, but in the end, there wasn't much that was within this front desk agent's control.
