Some people think that getting adopted by a cat is as simple as going to a cat shelter, but it is often not. Often, it will happen when you least expect it. You may be on a walk with your dogs when a cat adopts you. You may be having a midnight picnic and get adopted by a cat then. Heck, a cat might walk right into your home and adopt you - without any warning whatsoever. 

    And you may be like this - a cool-sounding dad going on a camping trip with your son for some father and son bonding time, and then CDS might force you to cut the camping trip short so that you could take your chosen kitty to safety. Or something. You never know is the first point, and you're always happy about it is the second one.
