    'My manager is now panicking': Retail worker written up for taking legally required lunch breaks, discovers company auto-deducted 30-minute breaks even when she worked through them, costing her $900 in unpaid wages, so she reports them to the labor board

    That's one way to get back at a supervisor for writing you up for taking a very legal and well-deserved lunch break during a busy period at work. I think some employers forgot that food, water, and rest are the key components of a functioning human being. However, for whatever reason from above, this complaint was the best thing to happen to this employee, as it opened up a door that exposed all the company's lies and theft. 

    After being told that she's expected to work through her lunch break, which was so far from legal, this employee decided to check her time cards…and to her shock, she discovered that she had been automatically clocked-out for thirty unpaid minutes every day, even when she worked through those breaks, which was basically always! That's almost 60 hours and $900 that the company has stolen from her in the last 8 months. When confronting her supervisor and contacting the labor board, suddenly her supervisor is on his knees…begging her not to file the complaint!
