Husky jailbroken from a 4'x8' balcony enclosure when concerned high-rise neighbors swoop in to save her: ‘They wouldn’t give her up for free, but we got her'

Maybe I'm not enough of a city girl, but high-rise buildings are a little freaky. Living 100s of feet in the air can be destabilizing, and it's creepy to imagine the whipping winds of high altitude blowing in from the balcony window. But this poor husky in this next viral story was banished to the stomach-churning exposure of their owner's 4'x8' balcony. Living a life every single day confined to this strange, outdoor prison, this poor dog never touched grass, slept in a bed, or even had a roof over her head. 

But the neighbors across the airway took notice. 

Although they were only 40 feet away from this beautiful pup on her balcony, they felt as if they were miles away and unable to help her. Until one day, they couldn't bear the thought of her being outside any longer—so they took action. Taking matters into their own hands, this couple swooped in and rescued the husky, bringing her next door and fostering her in the warmth of their own apartment until they found her a forever home.
