    ‘It’s been 1-2 degrees Celsius every night since it's been out there... It's a miracle’: An abandoned hamster, dubbed 'bean,' defies the odds to survive the wild, until her rescue leading to a new life of comfort, toys, and unconditional love

    The cruelty that hoomans are capable of when it comes to animals is rather shocking to say the least. Perhaps it is because for many hoomans, animals are still on the menu, so what does it matter that they let an animal come to harm if they would not be against eating them anyway?

    At least that seems like it might have been the philosophy of the person who discarded the poor hamster who this story centers around. Left to fend for itself in the blistering cold, while being completely drenched, the person who left this poor critter to pass in the cold has some seriously bad karma coming their way. But thankfully, the spirit forces of the animal kingdom bound together on this one to make sure that this fluffy little being would be saved by none other than the most hamster having person on the planet (having had close to ten of them in the past). Giving this fella the best chance at enjoying the rest of his life to the fullest.

    • Wow, that really is rather lucky for the hamster. To manage to survive in almost freezing temperatures while being wet would be a super tough task for us hoomans, let alone a tiny little defenseless hamster. What luck that it was rescued by a serial hamster haver no less.

    • Aww, what a wonderful turn of life events for Bean. Could you imagine how much it would boggle your mind to be in a situation near the end of life, and then suddenly be dropped into the literal lap of luxury, all within the span of a few days? You would probably think that you had passed away and arrived in heaven.
