    Gorgeous Greek kitten Athena grows attached to tourists, they end up stamping her pawsport and taking her home: 'We knew she wasn't one for the streets of Greece'

    You can find your soulmate anywhere in the world. For some, that bond is with a romantic partner, but it certainly doesn't have to be. Sometimes a soulmate is a friend who feels like family. But soulmates aren't always human, either. Sometimes they come with four paws, whiskers, and a knack for swatting cups off of tables. These once-in-a-lifetime connections can cross oceans, language barriers, and even species.

    That's exactly what happened when a tiny Greek kitten crossed paths with a pair of tourists. If you've read the title, you'll know this story ends in adoption, but it's hard to say who adopted who. She's the one that wandered into their vacation lodgings and refused to leave, after all. During their stay next to the Aegean Sea, they formed a bond that made it clear she wasn't meant to live the rough life of a stray. By the end of their trip, the travelers weren't just leaving Greece with memories and souvenirs, they were leaving with Athena and her paw-stamped pspspssport as well.
