Cats, in some ways, are like little humans. They have their own little thoughts and feelings, they have their own likes and dislikes, they express their opinions about everything the same way that we do, and, of course, cats have their silly habits. Some cats like sitting in sinks, and we don't fully understand why. Some cats like eating human foods while others don't. Some cats will sit directly on your pizza, and weird as that is, we can't argue with it, because pizza boxes are warm and smell great, and it just makes sense.

Now, these habits don't have to make sense, the same way that you choosing to fall asleep on your right side instead of on your back doesn't. And our cats' blepping habit certainly doesn't make sense, but it has to be one of our absolute all-time favorites. We can't explain it, we don't know what it means, but every time that it happens, we are the happiest people in the world.

Some people might think that we are ridiculous from getting so much joy from something so small, but really, we think they are the ridiculous ones. There's just something so silly about cats getting stuck like this. It's so pure and hilarious, and every single time that it happens, our phones fly out of our pockets to take a picture and remember the joy of that moment.

We think this for cats must be the same thing as us staring off into the middle of the room uncontrollably every once in a while. Only their version is funnier. Much, much funnier, and we never dare stop them while they are doing it.
