One thing that we have come to accept as a fact is that the cat distribution system can find you anywhere, at any time, whether you are prepared for it or not. And it doesn't matter who you are, if a cat chooses you, then there is nothing that you can do to change it. You can claim to hate cats, but that won't stop one from adopting you. You can be allergic to cats, but once again, cats don't actually care. Once you are chosen, it's done. And if you just so happen to have a wife who is allergic, well… it seems that she has no choice either.

Adopted by proxy - that's what happened here. Technically, this woman was not chosen by this kitten, but her husband, after rescuing the kitten from a car engine, knew that his time has come. His wife being allergic is simply something that will have to be dealt with, and he found a great way of doing just that.

This is the only right way to make this happen. If you're bringing a cat in without asking for permission first, then it is only right to bring a whole bunch of treats to everyone involved. Good husband behavior right here. We approve of this.
