Our pupper has another rule that we somehow got roped into following: she must get her peanut-butter bone to chew on for exactly 3 minutes before going to bed. She won't go to bed unless we let her chew on it for a few minutes, then she loses interest and falls asleep. Only the peanut butter-flavored one works for this.
