Hello, animal lovers! Today, we bring you a wholesome rescue story straight from the offices of Animal Comedy, and we could not have been more purroud to get to tell it.

During our lunch break, a little beautiful hummingbird fell on our office balcony, and it seemed like it was having a hard time getting back up. The little guy just sat there, and we didn't know what to do to help.

Since we are all devoted animal enthusiasts here at the Cheezburger offices, we knew we had to help the helpless bird. All of a sudden, everyone had one mission in mind–save the bird. We made phone calls, posted about it on Facebook, and ensured the beautiful bird was warm and relaxed while we figured out how to get it the help it needed. Eventually, we found a guy who could transfer the bird to a wildlife hospital; everyone chipped in to pay for the safe travels of the little bird.

We are pleased to report that the bird was safely handed over to experienced vets, who provided it with the care it deserved.
