'Property values just went way up!': Homeowners inherit a cat with their new house, becoming pawperty owners when the resident feline chooses to stick around

They say that one of the biggest reasons that cats get relinquished at the shelter is because their current owners are moving and can no longer keep their felines. While it's tragic and terrible for cats to be left behind by their owners, some felines turn lemons into lemonade with life's kitty challenges and this floofy tabby is no exception. 

Known for their independence and heralded for their ingenuity, cats are a lot smarter than we give them credit for, often taking matters into their own paws and choosing the kind of life they want to live. Funnily enough, a cat in this next story became the certified president of the hoMEOWner's association of this entire neighborhood after getting in good with the neighbors. Although he became a street cat by accident when his former hoomans moved out of the country, this resilient feline became the king of the block in his own way. 

And this couple became the accidental inheritors of a feisty floofy feline when they bought a house on the market with a resident cat living outside. Turns out, it was his house all along.
