    Entitled boss "Paul" claims employee's work as his own and fires him, employee gets even years later by buying Paul's company and demoting him: 'Enjoy litigation and demotion!'

    Most mistreated employees dream of the day that they can prove to their former employers that they made a big mistake while they were working together. Regardless of whether or not you were let go or simply undervalued at work, you probably know what it's like to harbor those feelings of resentment. It's not exactly the most healthy mindset to have, but there might not be a better source of motivation than seeking to prove someone wrong.

    This employee had the unfortunate experience of discovering that his boss had been taking credit for all of his ideas. When the author raised these concerns with upper management, the company unsurprisingly sided with his boss. Soon thereafter, the author was fired for some bogus reason. It's not the kind of experience one forgets as an employee, and this author seemed to instinctively know that one day, "Paul" would get what was coming for him.

    That opportunity ultimately arose years later in a multi-layered revenge plot that began when the author was working for another company that brought in "Paul" to "transform the company." "Paul" remembered the author, so it wasn't long before the two came into conflict with one another. Eventually, the author left that company and ended up going to court over an unpaid project. But that's only the first portion of the author's vengeance. By the end of the entire saga, the tables had turned, and the author was brought in to be Paul's new employer.
