It's one of the things that we love the most about cats, really. Their ferociousness. Their shamelessness. They don't care that they broke your favorite mug, they had a good time playing with and tossing it over the edge of the table, therefore, it is worth it, and you will get a new mug and love them no less than before they did it. The purrfect life.

Some of the habits that our cats develop are so silly and so unexpected that we don't even know how to fight them. Sure, tripping over this crease over and over is annoying, and you wish you didn't have to. But you do. Have to. Trip over it, we mean. Because the cat enjoys it for some reason, and we're not going to make the cat stop on account of something as unimportant as our safety. Pssh.
