Okay, so we get it. The communication was bad, you really wanted to have some of that cheese that night, and getting out of having to tip someone is always something that we half want to do anyway, but this… is silly. You're overreacting for sure.

They didn't try to hide that they did it, they were honest about it when you asked, and maybe it wasn't communicated quite so perfectly from your side that they weren't allowed to have some of what was already out in the open. And that's okay. It happens.
