Border Collie reacts to films like ‘Homeward Bound’ and ‘Twilight’ with so much empathy that it's rubbing off on others: ‘His emotional intelligence is off the chart!’

Barney the Border Collie is viral on TikTok for one very unique thing: He loves to watch movies. However, he does not just sit down and watch them, he views them with attention that reflects that similarly to a human. That's right, his emotional reactions would suggest that he knows exactly what is going on in these films and he feels it right in the feels. 

Recently, he's been hitting the nostalgic feels for millennials by reacting to generationally-known heartbreakers like Homeward Bound and the classic Twilight. These films were both extremely popular to 90s and early-aughts kids and would send them on an epic emotional roller coaster through out the viewing. Now, it turns out, us humans aren't the only ones being dramatic over fictional story telling. The pup, Barney, is truly experiencing everything a human viewer is. He even has his own emotional support toy with him while he watches!
