I love a good IRL troll. There are enough trolls online, and in fact, most of them are pretty bad for the general state of culture. But trolling in real life is pretty fun. This is not to be confused with pranking. No, pranking has a level of theatricality to it where trolling does not. A prank generally involves some sort of prop, costume, or choreography. Trolling just requires a wicked spirit. It's more akin to a joke or a bit than it is a practical joke. You can troll someone by making them think that today is Friday when in reality it's Thursday (like Jim does to Dwight in The Office).

Or you can troll someone long-term by making them believe that "War, What is it Good For" was actually the original title of Dostoyevsky's novel "War and Peace," like Jerry does to Elaine in Seinfeld. Or you can do what this person did and make someone believe something about your baby's name that turns out to be a lie. Or does it? It's actually unclear whether or not this person was trolling.
