And honestly, be they business-related or not, it's incredibly important to stick to your principles in the face of entitlement.

Look, I'd probably give my friends and family discounts and special treatment if I owned a restaurant, but not if they acted this entitled about it. Freebies should be considered a gift and received with gratitude, not expected and demanded.
