‘[My] "Coming out of your introvert shell" moment’: Quiet 51-year-old employee finally let's the office ‘Karen’ have it when she yells about parking, gets her fired 2 complaints later

A 51-year-old man who has self-claimed to be an introvert his entire life, finally experiences an extrovert moment when an entitled younger co-worker starts yelling at him over a parking spot. The spot in question, was free when the man arrived at work for his shift. She apparently had just pulled out to go run a quick errand, but he did not know this since he was just arriving for his shift and she had been there all day. However, she took it personally and decided to yell at him and call him inflammatory names in front of the entire office. He says that he felt his adrenaline pumping and he something switched on. He was done allowing this person to push him around and he let her have it. The woman got scolded by him, saying that the parking spots are first come first serve and she is being entitled.

He was so shaken by the situation, since he is not used to being extroverted, that he went to HR and formally reported her. Only two other reports on her behavior later, and she was fired. It turns out even if you are an introvert your entire life, you can still have extroverted moments. Just remember to buckle up!

As a self-described extrovert, I still experience introvert moments. So it is no surprise to me that this person was pushed to the brink of acting out of character. That might sound extreme, but it happens all the time and, as you can see from his experience, it can be a helpful thing!
