Entitled woman returns half-eaten birthday cake, demanding full refund for her kid's party: 'What’s left is just crumbs and frosting smears!'

There is something amusing about a disgruntled customer who has absolutely no legs to stand on. Most of the time, there is some validity at the core of a grievance, and it's usually the way in which the customer goes about addressing those grievances that becomes a problem. In this case, this customer clearly wanted to complain regardless of what the issue was. Her kid's birthday cake was objectively a success. After all, everyone at the party literally ate it up… which is why it raised some eyebrows when the lady marches back into the bakery complaining about its quality and demanding a refund.

Most stores have clear refund policies, and when it comes to food, it's hard to argue a refund when everyone consumed what you ordered. Furthermore, there was nothing specifically wrong with the order. It's not like the bakers misspelled the kid's name on the cake, and it's not like there was an ingredient used that disregarded a previously disclosed dietary restriction. Still, somehow this woman thought she was in the right when her only complain was that the cake did not seem fresh enough to her.
