Entitled 30-year-old cat-sitting couple throws party in the cat owner's house, giving the garage code to a bunch of strangers, without asking for permission: 'Evidently [they] just wanted more space to have friends over'

We don't know about you, but in the past, whenever we looked for a cat-sitter to take care of our fluffy babies, we took that very seriously. We vetted our cat-sitters, only asked people that we trust to do it. We left clear instructions to our cat-sitters. We didn't only trust them with our cats, which is already serious enough, we trusted them with our keys - with our homes. It's an important job, something critical, and if we had heard that our cat-sitter was hosting parties in our home behind our backs, we… would have lost our minds.

Luckily, that never happened to us, but it did happen to this couple. You would think that we're talking about teenagers throwing a party like this, but no, this story is about a couple in their early 30s offering to cat-sit for free in exchange, apparently, for a pizza party venue. No shame either. They posted about this party on socials.

Yeah, you're right. Obviously this is why they offered to do this for free. They didn't care about the cats, they just wanted a place to “rent” for free for a night to invite a bunch of their friends over, and that is just- baffling to us.

But what is far more baffling is the fact that they essentially gave a key to your house to a bunch of strangers. Even if they didn't steal anything that night, all those new people with keys may very well have done that anytime afterward.
