Nobody can use AI for everything. Even if you're an early adopter who thinks that AI can optimize every task, you can admit that it can't make your bed for you or brush your teeth in the morning. You can also acknowledge that AI relies on human intervention to function. Every piece of AI-generated writing needs to be read through and analyzed by human eyes before it goes out into the world for professional or personal purposes. Humans can catch simple mistakes that AI can't, and a human's perspective can make AI-generated writing sound more authentic.

I don't love it when people use language generators to write romantic personal things. If I received a love letter and later found out that it was copied and pasted AI-generated writing, I would be devastated. I would rather have a poorly written love letter or no love letter at all than one that wasn't even written by the person who sent it! It's far better to send a poem written by someone else than to pass off a language model's words as your own. I even get uncomfortable when I see people planning their honeymoons solely based on what an AI language model told them to do. The most important trip of your life should be personal, and AI vacation planning feels totally impersonal to me.

The grooms in this story took impersonal AI writing to a whole new level. Not only did they use Chat GPT to write their wedding vows, but they didn't even edit the text to hide that.
